Tudor Tennis Trophy competitors are entrepreneurs or professionals from Romania and around the world, tennis amateurs and supporters of humanitarian causes, who compete and put on a great show for the audience. It’s a pretty cool package deal for us all. Every year the traditional players introduce newbies. We welcome new players based on recommendations only.
The TTT
The tournament will start on September 1st and end on September 8th.
The PLAYER
The player is a tennis amateur. In doubles, the team will be formed of one youngster and one senior or mixed.
REGISTRATION
Please send us your registration by Thursday, August 1st.
PARTICIPATION
The player will make a donation per Trophy (singles or/and doubles).
The COURT
Hard surface.
The Official BALL
Will be provided by Wilson, our traditional partner. The number of balls for play is 4. There will be a new set of balls per match.
The GAME
Singles will play in 4 groups of 3 to 5 players, two qualifiers per group will play quarters, followed by semis and the final. Doubles will play quarters, semis and the final.
The SCORE
The match will be played to the best of 3 sets (a player/team needs to win 2 sets to win the match). The group matches, due to time restraints, the will play Super-Tie Break (instead of the 3rd set). Doubles will play 2 out of 3 sets.
