What a day at MMOpen… for Romanian tennis.
First, Miss Halep twists and turns, plays around and by the end manages to win against Roberta Vinci 6-3; 2-6; 7-6(2).
Up next Miss Cirstea played just under one hour against Cathrine Bellis and won 6-3; 6-2.
Miss Begu got us all nervous in her match against Johanna Larsson. She lost first set but then got back in the game and won second and third set. Final score: 4-6; 7-6(5); 6-3.
Last but not least and probably the most expected match of the day, Mr. Marius Copil facing world number one, Mr. Andy Murray. The best player in the world at the moment had some difficulty during the match and congratulated Marius at the end. The match was great, the score was also good: 6-4; 6-3. Also, have to mention that Copil’s first serve was an Ace. Loved it!!!
